Jonathan Clatt serves as the Lead Pastor of Harvest City Church alongside his wife, Hera, providing vision, leadership, and teaching for the church. After many years in a variety of ministry and leadership roles at Harvest City, Jonathan was installed as Lead Pastor in 2015, succeeding Founding Pastor Joe Dejesa.

Known for his passionate, transparent, engaging, and often humorous communication style, Jonathan has a heart for helping people understand and love God’s Word, see Jesus throughout Scripture, and live biblical truth out in everyday life. His messages often draw from family stories, everyday experiences, and plenty of ’80s and ’90s nostalgia, helping make Scripture relatable and memorable while always keeping Jesus central.

Before entering full-time ministry, Jonathan worked in marketing within the investment industry and later founded and led his own marketing and design company for many years. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Practical Theology from The King’s University.

Hera has been part of Harvest City since its inception and is a gifted leader, administrator, and communicator with a heart for worship, prayer, discipleship, and creating meaningful environments where people can connect, encounter God, and grow in their relationship with Jesus and with one another. Hera spent eight years in education as both a teacher and in district-level compliance, overseeing federal programs and grants. During her first year of teaching, she was recognized as First Year Educator of the Year.

Jonathan and Hera are high school sweethearts who met at Harvest City Church in 1997. They have two children, Judah and Jada, and consider it a great honor and joy to lead and serve the Harvest City family and the city of San Antonio, both of which have played an important role in their lives and story for nearly three decades.
